From the Desk of Pastor Doug,

I’m sitting at my desk watching the snow come down and thinking of warmer days and Day Camp. Last year we had an awesome summer with almost 200 campers joining us for fun packed weeks. This year we are expanding our camps from three weeks to four weeks with the addition of a NEW! Senior High Camp.

We continue to work hard at keeping our prices down while offering a quality program. Last year we had over 90 volunteers giving their time to help us in that endeavor. We do provide a family discount, and there is financial assistance available for families in need. Please contact me if you would like more information regarding financial assistance.

The camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm, but we do provide supervision before and after camp. Campers can be dropped off as early at 8:30 and must be picked up no later than 4:30. Afternoon activities include bowling, swimming, Flying Squirrel, and the youth camps go to Canada’s Wonderland. Campers can choose elective activities which include woodworking, Mad Science, crafts and cooking. We go out to McDonalds for lunch once during the week.

Don’t forget our registration opens Monday, February 12.

If you could help us out by telling others about our camp that would be wonderful. We don’t do a lot of advertising, but find that word of mouth is the best way to promote the camp.

Finally, I want to say how much we enjoy having your children join us during the summers. It is a privilege to invest in their lives and to see them grow up.

Refund Policy

100% refund before April 1st.
50% refund in April and May.

No refund after May 31st as materials, shirts, and other things must be ordered. Refunds will occur under exceptional circumstances.

Just a few simple steps . . .

• EACH of the 3 steps listed below need to be completed. Each form can easily be completed in less than 5 minutes.
• Depending on the type of device you are using a new tab may open for each step. If so, just close that tab when done and execute the next step. Otherwise, please ensure you come back to this web page and execute the next step.
• A child entering grade 5 can be registered in both the "Adventure Camp" and "Jr. Youth Camp". These are 2 separate registrations each with their own payment requirement.
• To be considered as being fully registered you need to complete ALL the steps.

   You will need to acknowledge that you have read it in the next step.


2. Register for a camp
   Complete each form once for each different camp – please note that each registration form starts with the same family / parent registration information. After you submit the form, you will receive an email of what you entered.

3. Payment:
   • All payments must be paid in full at time of registration. No partial payments accepted.
     Include full names of children payment is for as well as for the week of camp they are in.
   • Determine the amount to pay using the pricing chart
     - Please contact Pastor Doug if you cannot pay for any reason and need financial assistance.
   • Pay via eTransfer the amount identified from the pricing chart
     - eTransfer to finance@firstlobobaptist.com is the preferred payment method
     - include “day camp fees for first and last name of each child” in the ‘message box’ of the eTransfer
     - no password is required as automatic deposit is set up
   • or, pay via cheque or cash the amount identified from the pricing chart
     - cheque and cash payments can be dropped off at the church
     - the church office is open every Tuesday, 9:00am – 1:00pm
     - there is also a locked mailbox outside the church front doors that a sealed envelope can be deposited in
